As the world quibbles while Syria bleeds, we think the international community needs a different method of addressing these issues besides those carried over from the violent decades of the past century. True what we propose may seem somewhat off the wall to those living in relatively humane settings, others may find our suggestions to be plausible and rational.
Last week, we offered what we thought was a viable option for global despots who may be contemplating clobbering their own people to hang on to power. Today, we thought it might be helpful to follow up with a response for the tyrants who refuse to be reasonable. After all, the very nature of being a tyrant is not listening to reason. Hence, its reasonable to assume not everybody is going to take the deal. What now?
When all else has failed, the world needs an internationally binding instrument at its disposal, authorizing the elimination of any government's leader that crosses a predetermined threshold of inhumane acts against its own population.
When it is determined that "any government" is engaging in the indiscriminate slaughter and or torturing of its own people, while denying said people their universal rights of freedom of speech, the right to assemble for the purpose of protest, the right to a free press with legitimate elections etc etc etc, they will be placed on the world's "Shitler's List". The head of said state would be considered an immediate target for termination with extreme predujice, sanctioned by "an international governing body". No nation, big or small can opt out of this humanitarian mandate to maintain one world standard of humanity.
Since President Obama has demonstrated to the world, existing technologies can be deployed to locate, identify, target and terminate just about anybody anywhere, we say take that concept to its next level of evolution. However it should be noted, no single nation or group of nations will have control of the assets commissioned to execute this action. Once on this list, you're F-d and there is no way off. There is no apeal. There is no UN Security Council Votes or Vetos. You're done and soon to be "Droned".
Through an automated process, intelligence assets all over the world will be triggered to cooperate, collaborate and pool all necessary resources to bring a most public and painful demise to the rogue. You'll be notified through special courier stating the following: Congratulations King /PM/President/ whatever A-hole, you have made the world's Shitler's List. Please be advise, you prize will be delivered anytime now. Our condolence to whomever may still respect you. May God/Allah et al rest your wretched soul, The World.
Of course, henchmen currently chilling with potential Shitler Listers will be carefully monitoring the activities of their respective leaders for they too will pay a price for not disavowing their allegiance soon enough. Disburse, divide, defect and disappear if you don't want to be "droned", is the message to be seared into the flunky mindset. Defection is the preferable option in our view, if one doesn't want the ghost of Simon Wiesenthal creeping them out for the rest of their lives.
Without question, this is not a plan anyone wielding power would sign onto willingly, that's why we also propose global citizens start pushing for such options from the grassroots level while they have the world's attention.
