Issues Under Fire: Petraeus Sex Scandal Expose Misplaced Priorities

David Petraeus Sex Scandal Expose Misplaced Priorities:

In order to avoid losing our maticulously cultivated cool, we're deactivating this asset until further notice. Continuing to monitor, analyze and evaluate for guidance an entity that clearly "don't get it", is a waste of our most precious commodity: Time!

While the exposure of David Petraeus's panty raid is too sexy a story to pass up for most "media professionals", we can't stomach the madness a moment longer. For those who may have missed it, the eastern seaboard of the United States is recovering agonizingly slowly from a major natural disaster.

Spain and Portugal are now seemingly in permanent mop up mode. Venice Italy as of this very day is 70% under water.  BTW, all of these nations as well as the rest of the globe is facing fiscal calamities equivalent to, if not exceeding Mother Nature's relentless wrath of payback.

It's unfortunate, but yet again America has allowed itself to be mesmerized and fixated on the least of the world's concerns. Sex, scandal, and damning e-mails rule the airwaves while the world washes away and America does a half gainer with a full twist off the "fiscal cliff".

Although we tried our level best to turn the tide of the mainstream media's blast-casting of mindless infotainment, we're finally convinced of our failure to do so. Why the masses have not abandoned the blithering blather of broadcast/cable news' boobs en masse remains a mystery.

Merely being armed with logic, reason, common sense, an open mind, science and our most powerful weapon; the truth, we were simply no match for our adversaries. The irresponsible, advertising dollar chasing, corporate corrupted forth estate was and remains far more resilient than we could have possibly anticipated.

Hard core stupidity, ignorance, apathy, hate and obscene amounts of money to support the aforementioned simply had us out gunned. If we can't win with the truth, we're out of ammunition to continue this fight. Hence, we're taking some time off to develop a more effective arsenal of tools to combat the legions of "the easily misled".

Hopefully, we can return before either America once and for all loses its undeclared Civil War of principles/values to the crazies or worse, the world as you've known it has completely submerged.
