It is with the greatest regret we had to resort to such an incendiary headline, but those carriying out the most heinous acts against mankind keep brandishing the teachings of Islam as a threat against the rest of the civilized world.
In one of the most brutally savage murders to be witnesses in broad daylight, was carried out by two vicious killers wrapped in a maniac's message. Leaving the world astounded, confused and dismayed, this death of a british soldier may offer evidence of a new strain of violent behavior to combat; random vengeance.
Brazenly awaiting authorities for a confrontation after the barbaric butchering of a human being, the monsters actually encouraged onlookers to take pictures and recordings of the horror. Understandably, the obvious questions are why did this happen? What the hell the could drive a" human being" to this level of inhumanity? and how could someone sink to such depths of depravity?
In an effort to comprehend the perpetrator's motives, we carefully reviewed his rant as he attempted to explain the inexplicable. Not so surprisingly, we heard an eerily similar message to that reportedly found scrawled on the boat where the Boston bombing suspect was captured. Both, essentially indicated their acts were in response to Western aggression against Muslims around the world.
Frighteningly, the face of the "Islamist Jihadist" type has morphed into faces everyone is familiar with. He looks like any young man next door. We have a European looking kid from Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia espousing the exact same violent rhetoric as a Black kid of African origin in London England. This is a more than just a problem. The could become an epidemic.
In our view, something has gone horribly wrong and greater dialog with an open-ended and very public search for truth is called for. It is imperative the world at large understands precisely what's driving this menacing narative in the heads of the world's youth.
Is it a lack of education, jobs, opportunity, hope, dignity, future, direction, upbringing or an inequitable distribution of resources? WTF is it we ask, because inquiring minds really need do to know.
Should it be traced and tracked like a virus? Who is most susceptible and why? What is the rate of infection? How soon can a carrier be spotted and cured before he can contaminate others? Why are most "human beings" immune? We really need to know how come some can read the Koran and peacefully live their lives and settle their differences while others used as a license to kill or an excuse for indiscriminate retribution.
Short of all the glaring possibilities, perhaps the world does need to pay closer attention to what is being done by their governments, private industry, and the faceless elites that make the world go round. One needn't overtax one's imagination to envision Western interest using excessive forces to engaging excessively for the purpose of achieving public, but mostly private goals. We make no excuses, we just amplify the whispers.
