Issues Under Fire: What the World Need Now is Dynamic Leadership

World Leadership is Failing

Leaders of nation states have but one primary duty. That duty is to provide and maintain peace, prosperity and security for their people. The formula for peace, prosperity and a secure future is simple. Jobs, job security, living wages, a dignified social safety net, access to affordable healthcare, affordable education and the opportunity for upward mobility based an individuals talents, skills and work ethic. If the world's current crop of leaders can provide these basic rights of their respective populations, there would far less global strife.

Unfortunately, finding ways to deliver peace, prosperity and a secure future to 7 billion and counting, is beyond the capabilities of those the world have placed its faith in to do so. Who would have thought America's cool 21st Century president would end up delivering a message encouraging Europe to "Man Up", by investing more in military defense.

What the world needs now is a dynamic leader arriving on the world stage prepared to collaborate and cooperate on ideas to deliver peace, prosperity and a secure global future! At one point, that dynamic leader was thought to be President Barack Obama, but somehow his message of hope and change never materialized.

Its becoming painfully obvious, there is nobody in charge of the world. The lights may be on in many places, but there's no one capable of answering the call of the people when they come knocking. Historically, the West has been the leaders of the pack, but all that has changed. The United States has spent the last decade or more managing one mega blunder after another, while Europe has become so disjointed, Europeans can't tell, if Europe is coming or going.

Fragmented, conflicted and directionless, whatever is left of the so-called "international community", is slowly collapsing into chaos. Since there is no one on the horizon that seems even remotely capable of taking control of this "ball of confusion", one can safely predict nothing but continued conflict and global unrest looking forward.

Bottom line: World leadership is failing to deliver!
