Issues Under Fire: Despite Unprecedented Carnage, Israelis Cheer Operation Kill-Em All
Day 24 of the Assault on Gaza: On the day Gaza's death toll crossed 1400, with thousands more wounded, scarred and crippled for life, Israeli citizens cheer the IDF's successes. Seeing women and children bleeding to death on the streets of Gaza, while others suffocate under tons of rubble, somehow brings delight to this hardened nation of the damned. Screams of Palestinians in pain is like music to an Israeli's ears.
Watching the daily death and destruction on flat screens TVs in the relative safety of shaded cafes and balmy beach bars, Israelis happily give their approval to the violence being committed in their names. Israelis are now openly encouraging their leaders to destroy more, maim more and by any means necessary, kill more. Just kill them all, is the message being sent to Israel's leadership and that leadership is more than happy to oblige.
Still, one could almost understand how some would tolerate or even support a certain amount of military aggression due to the frustration of failing to find a peaceful solution, but this is not frustration. This is naked aggression driven by a collective depravity. This is unmitigated hate. This is something evil. This is an obscenity against mankind rarely witnessed and needs to be carefully observed, analyzed and documented.
It is critical the world fully understands, not only the genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people, but also the root causes of Israel's need to kill. Its about time we all know for certain, what could drive a people to lust for such unrestrained violence. Perhaps the people of Israel have lost their minds. Perhaps, they've descended into some form of mass madness, a lynch mob mentality so ginned up, they can no longer be reasoned with. Perhaps, sanity is now beyond their reach.
Bottom line: In the absence of shame, compassion, humanity or even a modicum of human decency, the Israeli people are telling the world, it cares not to be loved, liked or even respected, as long as Israel is feared. When you have Israeli youth chanting in the streets of Tel Aviv, " there is no school in Gaza today, because there are no more children in Gaza." and "Gaza is a cemetery.", one would be wise to keep one's distance from these people. One would be wise to beware.
