Issues Under Fire: Welcome to Hell, Sorry to See You Back
We know "Welcome to Hell" is a rather incendiary opening, but today's posting is so hot, we had to get your attention somehow. Now that we've got it, we'll try and convince you, the life you're living, is a living Hell. No matter who you are, rich and famous or a poor nobody, you are existing in a living hell. Everybody you know, have known or will ever know, is right here with you and deservedly so. (Well, save for ourselves, for we're just delivering the messenger.)
After carefully examining the state of mankind over the past two centuries, we've come to the conclusion, this space we call earth is a Hell of mankind's own making and its getting hotter everyday. During the twenty-first century the world witnessed six million people slaughtered by a maniac. While that atrocity is considered to be the worst killing event mankind has ever visited upon itself, in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. The actual death toll from war and conflict for that time period was closer to 167-175 million. If that fact don't wake you up, you're probably in a self induced coma.
If those numbers are too astounding to process, we invite you to consider the everyday realities the world has come to accept and tolerate. We covered so many rape stories in India, it appears that crime has become a national pastime. A woman's life is literally worthless in that space. From the Middle-East to Central and South Asia, people are killing each other as well as themselves in the most horrid and heinous ways one can imagine and all in the name of God. If that's not a clue, you're not paying attention.
In America, the world's leading beacon of hope, race and religious intolerance issues rage without end. Driven by hate, few issues can stoke the flames of Hell like racism and xenophobia. When America claims the moral high ground to promote its values and exceptionalism, while it openly debates the definition and value of torture, something is horribly wrong. In any place but Hell, torture is like pornography, you'll know it when you see it. Unfortunately, in Hell anything is acceptable, if it helps one achieve one's goals and objectives. Absolutely Anything!
In Hell, rich people watch poor people get poorer while they drive themselves insane trying to get even richer. The fact that they can't take a penny of their wealth with them when they die is of no consequence, as many will literally hoard mountains of money while others starve in the streets. Hell, is the only place where poverty is a crime to be punished, while unbridled greed is protected and respected. And after all these years, slavery and human trafficking has made a stunning comeback.
One needn't stroll though history to get the point. One would think the world would have concluded its become a living Hell from the daily headlines alone. One would think life should and could be better. One would think few would want to continue living in a space like this. One would think, when people say never again, that actually meant, never again. Unfortunately, in Hell, history repeats itself over and over again. The very definition of Hell is eternal turmoil.
Bottom line: In order to get your get out of Hell card, you have to understand why you're in Hell in the first place. Praying and doing the right thing is futile if you don't even realize you're already in Hell. Remember, prayers aren't answered in Hell. If you doubt this thesis, you need only ask yourself, when the last time you had a prayer answered.
You don't start praying to leave this earth and go to heaven, you start doing the right thing to leave this Hell and never return. If you don't learn this lesson in one life time, you'll keep returning to Hell until you do. Podcast Below!
