Issues Under Fire: Understanding the Evil Force Behind ISIS
Yesterday, we identified Evil as the energy source driving ISIS, as well as a plethora of other negative entities plaguing humankind. However, identifying Evil, is only the first step in combatting it. The next and crucial step is understanding how Evil works. Since Evil can be found everywhere, one has to be prepared to accept the fact that we're all susceptible to its infectious nature.
Evil is clever, sly and silent, as it resides dormant in the hearts and minds of all humankind. Shrewdly masking itself behind faces, communities, cultures, nations and religions just like ours, Evil quietly co-opts and corrupts from within. Many times appearing as subtly as an idea out of the clear blue sky, the seeds of horror, heartbreak and misery are sown.
From this observer's perspective, the religion of Islam may have fallen prey to Evil's wicked incitements. Grown from a kernel of truth, Evil made use legitimate grievances of the oppressed to exploit the inherent pain, anger and burning desire for revenge. Twisting a peaceful, loving narrative into something vile and virulent, Evil wormed its way into the weakest of minds. Once infected with this new strain of Islamic payback, Evil's job was halfway complete.
On the flip-side, failing to recognize or acknowledge any misdeeds or wrongdoings of its own, Western minds were left just as susceptible to Evil's insidious penetration. After sufficiently stoking the West's intrinsic "holier than thou" principals to deflect any responsibility for the conditions of others, Evil simply watched human nature run its course. Once convinced Islamic payback was on the rise, and a Western military response was the only option, Evil's job was done.
The end result of Evil's ever presence malignancy, seeking new unsuspecting recruits to do its bidding, the world has been engulfed and consumed with anger, hostility and pure unadulterated hate. The harder you fight your foes, the stronger your hate grows. As long as Evil can remain cloaked in the righteousness of religion, the weak of mind will continue  to follow its lead straight into hell.
Bottom line: There is only one antidote for Evil and that is Good. Good will never give you an Evil idea. Good will never tell you to lie, cheat, steal, rape, torture or take a life for revenge. One must beware the sweet taste of revenge and payback, for it's merely Evil's treat for a damned soul. Once you understand how Evil works, you'll understand why ISIS is winning. Podcast Below!
