Issues Under Fire: The Albatross AKA Bibi Netanyahu Has Landed

Issues Under Fire: The Albatross AKA Bibi Netanyahu Has Landed
Despite polite request to delay his visit, America's burden has arrived. Billing himself as "The Messenger", the overbearing Prime Minister of Israel intends to stand before an audience of avid Congressional lackeys to tell America what only he is wise enough to know. Saddled with the responsibility of Israel's security, American citizens find themselves obliged to stomach the putrid presence of a man hellbent on derailing all paths to peace by taking control of U.S. foreign policy.
One can only wonder what kind of nation the United States would be if it had an independent Congress, capable of governing without foreign influence and interference. As things stand, whatever the Israelis want, they need only snap their fingers and the United States Congress is there to provide. Whether its money and weapons, or life and limb, the United States Congress will bend over backwards to please and appease.
It remains a mystery, how the Israelis gained such a stranglehold over the American political process. When did it happen? Was it all at once, or was the take over slow and insidious? Did anyone see the take over it coming and failed to sound the alarm, or were we all so stupid, apathetic or otherwise too preoccupied to care? Some feel the entire problem of having to schlepp for Israel needs some serious attention, because the cost is unsustainable. Asking a few honest and fundamental questions may help.
Firstly, why is Israel America's problem? Its not like Americans and Israelis are really pals. Israelis have their issues and Americans have their own. How come world leaders like Russia's Vladimir Putin and China's Xi Jinping don't seem to be all that concerned with the daily lives of Israelis? How were the Russians and Chinese been able to fortify themselves from Israel's infectious clasp and warmongering rhetoric. Why wasn't the European Parliament compelled to sit at attention while the Israeli Prime Minister delivers his "Message"?
For some reason, the United States and the United States alone is the only entity on earth that's been compromised and convinced, that a tight relationship with Israel is not only beneficial to its future, but the key to its very survival. Somehow the America people have been duped into accepting "what's good for Israel is good for America." Somehow, somebody has bamboozled enough gullible Americans into thinking, If something bad happens to Israel, America is sure to be next.
Bottom line: If United States politicians can't find a way to fund campaigns without compromising principles and selling out the American people, this country might awaken some day to find itself completely governed from abroad. Perhaps, we're already there. Podcast Below!
