Issues Under Fire: Bibi Veers Recklessly to the Right in Last Hours of Election
In a last minute effort to remain Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu veered so far to the Right, he took his campaign on a collision course with the entire world. Promising no two state solution as long as he's Israel's leader, Netanyahu told the rabid rabbi crews just what they wanted to hear. As if that weren't enough, he also promised settlement building in disputed east Jerusalem would continue unabated.
Apparently not giving a damn that the whole world is watching, Netanyahu ignored how his message would be received by more rational and reasonable audiences. Apparently not giving a damn that his message was being heard and digested by those in the West Bank, Gaza, the Arab street, the international community and an increasingly aggravated U.S., Netanyahu gave the world a peek at what the future of Israel would look like with him at the helm for another four years.
One needn't be a geopolitical analysts or an expert in middle eastern history to envision where another four years of Netanyahu's rule would lead. Unless the Palestinians are completely deaf dumb and blind, the more extremist elements are already thinking Intifada 3.0. One could easily imagine uprisings in the West Bank, rockets from Gaza, random lone wolf street attacks from fed up Arab Israelis and more anti-Israeli sentiment circling the globe.
Of course, this will all trigger another Israeli Operation: Kill-Em All to restore the quiet. While that quiet is being restored, Israel will show images of its citizens huddling in bomb shelters and hiding beneath its protective Iron Dome, to offset the bloodletting being perpetrated against Palestinians throughout the occupied territories.
Of course, this will all trigger accusations of war crimes and crimes against humanity. The U.N. will be pissed, Amnesty International will be screaming bloody murder, there will be widespread international condemnation and threats of taking the Israelis to the international criminal court, but when all is said and done, nothing will be done.

The U.N. will be pissed, Amnesty International will be screaming bloody murder, there will be widespread international condemnation and threats of taking the Israelis to the international criminal court, but when all is said and done, nothing will be done.
Still, war crimes and charges of crimes against humanity be damned, as Israel will deny all, while reminding the world how humanely they kill. The international community will be told how much care and attention the IDF employs to avoid collateral damage and the loss of innocent life. Israeli spokespersons will blanket cable news providing a narrative that cast Israelis as victims and anyone opposing Israel's right to protect itself, as anti-Semitic haters. It seems we've been here and done this a thousands times.
Bottom line: Instead of promoting a message of peace and prosperity, Benjamin Netanyahu is essentially promising Israelis, Arab Israelis (there is a difference you should know) and Palestinians a destiny of death and destruction. Making no apologies for his positions or vision for Israel's future, Netanyahu has finally revealed the depth of his politically driven depravity. Podcast Below!
