Issues Under Fire: Since Hate is Not a Plan, What's Next for Israel?
In the aftermath of the Israeli elections, the world eagerly awaits the formation of the its next government. If Benjamin Netanyahu's governing coalition looks anything like what's anticipated, the international community will have all the ammunition it needs to exert and maintain unprecedented pressure on the rogue state. The Netanyahu camp maybe celebrating now, but the fear and hate the Likud Party campaigned on to retain power is not a plan.
With tags like racism, apartheid, intolerance, hate, aggression, inhumanity, warmongering, land grabbers, occupiers and war criminals hanging over the nation's head, without the cover of seeking a two state solution, Israel has been forever redefined. When people think of Israel and the Israeli people today, the image won't be pretty.
After decades of deception and deflection, the truth finally came to light. Thanks to Benjamin Netanyahu, the so-called state of Israel can now be seen for what it is. One of the most horrible spaces on the planet and home to some of the most self-absorbed people known to mankind, Israel is a festering malignancy taking advantage of a region struggling to civilize itself. Like many opportunistic diseases, the concept of Israel insidiously hid behind the symptoms of a chaotic world.
Constantly complaining about its own pain and suffering, Israel was able to keep the international community diverted from the pain and suffering its racist regime was inflicting upon the world. Now that its been made clear, that a plurality of the Israeli people never wanted peace, never intended to negotiate in good faith and was only interested in expanding settlements until the Palestinians were isolated until they could be annihilated, then one can reasonably surmise, much of what ails Israel today has been self inflicted.
Fifty years is a long time to keep a lie alive and the Israeli should be given a tremendous amount of credit for its ability to scheme, scam and steal to build a nation from literally nothing. Unfortunately that strategy couldn't be sustained forever. Had the Israelis understood Abraham Lincoln's idiom: "you can fool some of the people all the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all the people all the time.", perhaps they could have avoided the fate they've sealed for themselves.
Bottom line: As the world prepares a response to what has been revealed about Israel, the Israeli people will find themselves completely alone and defenseless. The convenient charge of anti-Semitism to offset justifiable criticism has been defanged and any claims of being the world's most pitiful victim will be dismissed. Even another boring history lesson of the Israeli people and the holocaust won't garner much more than a yawn or two. Podcast Below!
