Issues Under Fire: What Happened to the African-American and Why
If you've been following this blog lately, you know its been focusing intently on what's ailing African Americans and what can be done to alleviate some of their most pressing issues. In doing so, this observer has uncovered some uncomfortable truths about African Americans and have documented them openly and bluntly.
However, the more I kept digging, the more evidence I found to explain why African Americans have found themselves at the very bottom of America's social pecking order. The evidence is as devastating as its undeniable. I now know who did what, I know when it was done and I know why they did what they did to the African American.
While America celebrated 239 years of independence this weekend, this writer spent the time researching examining and documenting one of the most dastardly acts of attempted genocide in American history. Not since America's native people were intentionally infected with small pox, has there been anything so vile perpetrated against a population in the United States. And that includes slavery.
With every document I reviewed and analyzed, it became evident I was looking at an evil event driven by evil intent. The plan, the plot and the people behind the eventual atrocity were evil. Nothing could ever justify what was done to the African American. In a scant ten year period, millions of Black lives were destroyed or forever derailed by the United States government.
This is a tale so horrific, I'm still having a difficult time coming to terns with the gravity and the enormity of it. Hence, I'm simply still too emotionally engaged with this unbelievably wicked story to verbalize it in a podcast without welling up with anger. Allowing myself to present these findings and analysis in anger, would be uncool. And being uncool, is simply unacceptable.
Therefore, until I'm capable of maintaining my cool, I think it would be wise to keep my mouth shut today. Perhaps tomorrow, after a cooling off period, I can approach this story from a calmer state of mind. In the meantime, you'll find another exciting episode of Philip Marlowe to chill with. This one is entitled "The Panama Hat". Enjoy and share.
