Issues Under Fire: Detecting Campaign Lies and Media Bias

While observing the U.S. 2016 presidential primaries, it became crystal clear the American public is being misled, misinformed and outright lied to every day. If the candidates themselves aren't misleading the public, America's corporate media and even the pollsters are doing it. Almost everything stated, reported or commented on is being spun, filtered or sanitized, by everybody connected with this charade called the "Race for the White House."
From Hillary Clinton's flagrant misrepresentation of Bernie Sanders' vote against the Auto Industry Bailout, to Donald Trump's outright lies of making America great again when he deports 11 million illegals and forces Mexico to pay for the biggest wall ever built in the history of mankind, the causal spectator can only question why the media doesn't hold the offenders accountable. The short answer is, the media is just as culpable.
Considering it's no secret the "corporate media" has its own dog in the fight, little if anything they report or comment upon should be taken seriously. No matter how they try to hide their bias, it's clear cable outlets like CNN and MSNBC are squarely behind Hillary Clinton and Fox News and like slander specialists are for anybody but Donald Trump. When the Sanders message started gaining traction and Trump started pulling away from the GOP's lackey pack, Sanders was marginally congratulated and Trump was roundly attacked.
As quietly as it's been kept, the corporate media (mainstream if you prefer) is actually covertly in bed with both sides of Washington D.C.'s political establishment. While it pretends to maintain the integrity of an impartial press, if one observes the process carefully enough, one will find America's corporate media influencing, manipulating and managing the interested voter's experience every step of the way and every minute of the day.
By controlling the depth, the angles and amount of coverage a story or a candidate gets, media pros can shift opinions of less astute observers dramatically. If one can accept these observations to be plausible, then one must be prepared to accept the plausibility that everything one sees, hears or reads has been designed to steer one's mindset toward a particular direction. Fortunately, we have a solution for lie laced campaigns and campaign coverage the public has to wade through. We call it "The Political/Media Lie Detection System."
Since the candidates, the media or even the pollsters can't be trusted, why not improve existing technology to determine the accuracy of the candidates, the candidate's surrogates and even reporters' and commentators' statements. Whenever a microphone or camera is placed before them, they'll be simultaneously fitted for an advanced lie detection system. Anyone knowingly making false statements, promises or accusations will be immediately flagged as dishonest and untrustworthy. Independent fact checkers will review the captured data for verification and all lying ass S.O.Bs. will be disqualified or fired posthaste.
Think of how interesting the debates would be if candidates, moderators and commentators could be ousted on the spot when outed by the latest in lie detection technology. Think of how much faster candidates could be eliminated from the process. Think of how much money and time could be saved on negative advertising. Think of how comforting it'd be if voters could go to the polls with confidence that they haven't been scammed or bamboozled. And if you really think about it, what politician or media professional could refuse to participate without being dismissed without further consideration?
Bottom line: Because the American people are literally placing their lives and futures in the hands of strangers with no more to go on than televised debates, campaign slogans, photo opportunities and sound bites, they should demand proof from those seeking their votes. How else can one tell if these creatures are exactly who and what they say they are? With the stakes this high in today's do and say whatever it takes environment, Americans should have more to rely upon than a politician. Podcast below!
