In a preemptive strike against a Bernie Sanders win in California, Hillary Clinton's campaign managed to strong-arm enough super-delagates into sticking with the establishment, no matter what. By doing so, the "empty pantsuit" could claim to be the Democrat's nominee even before the polls open in the Golden State. Fearing an embarrassing loss for the biggest prize of pledged delegates, the DNC backed candidate wants to depress California voters to suppress the vote. While Party insiders might think this a slick move, Party outsiders are just getting more pissed off.
In fact, Party outsiders are forming alliances and planning alternatives to America's corrupt two Party scam, by hooking up with Jill Stein and her Green Party. For many self identified Democrats, Liberals, Progressives and "Others", Hillary Clinton is simply not acceptable and never will be. After reviewing Jill Stein's background and history as well as her Power to the People Plan, she sounds a lot like Bernie. In fact Stein and Sanders' proposals are so politically in sync, one would think they've been collaborating all along.
Both are for universal healthcare for all Americans. Both are for free college tuition for all Americans. Both are for reducing corporate welfare and aggressively addressing income inequality. Both are for pushing for a $15 an hour federal minimum wage. Both are for making the wealthy pay their fair share. Both are for cutting military spending and reducing America's military footprint around the world. Both are for ending unconstitutional surveillance and unwarranted spying. Both are for ending police brutality, mass incarceration and institutional racism in the U.S. justice system. And both support the decriminalization of marijuana.
But wait, there's more: Both of these candidates want the United States to lead the world on a treaty to halt climate change. Both are against fracking, tar sands and off shore drilling. Both are for placing a moratorium on genetically modified foods until they're proven safe. Both are for adopting a foreign policy grounded in diplomacy, international law and human rights. And believe it or not, both are for revising the standard narrative of maintaining full throated support for Israel at the expense of peace and the Palestinian people. Hell, what else could any self-respecting Democrat want?
Actually, after reviewing, analyzing and comparing what Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein are fighting for, it's difficult to see how their message wouldn't appeal greatly to Hillary Clinton supporters. Women who are supporting Hillary simply because they want to see a female in the White House can have their cake and eat it too. They can vote for an intelligent, accomplished and Progressive female candidate, without compromising their principals when it comes to ethics and character. This is a win-win all the way around for "We the People".
But wait, it gets better: Imagine having two mature candidates with new, fresh and innovative ideas that appeal to both young and old, men and women as well as Blacks and Whites. Imagine having two "people first" candidates prepared to challenge the establishment to open up the process so every voter, no matter what their Party affiliation, will be heard and included.
Bottom line: If these like-minded political rebels can manage to merge their messages and movements into one fighting force, they could easily generate the energy and excitement to disrupt and destabilize the process. Now that America's intentionally deceptive and discombobulated system has been exposed for what it really is, it won't take much for this potent insurgency to take down the DNC like Donald Trump exposed and dispensed with the RNC. If ever there was a perfect time to strike, this is it. The Party is corrupt, the people know it, they want something new and they want it now. And the establishment is scared shitless!
