Issues Under Fire: Someone Has To Say it. The White House Has A Mental Health Issue
In all honesty, we must admit we're way too old for this sh!t, but when your mission in life is to help save the world, retirement and or giving up is simply not an option. Besides, in the sixty plus years we've walked this planet, we've been to Hell and back so many times we can draw you a map to Hell's backdoor. And make no mistake about it, that's precisely where your world is now. You need a guide and we're here to help.
We don't know how, but we do know when Issues Under Fire will return. March 20th, the first day of spring 2017 we'll begin anew. Still, one shouldn't get one's hopes up too high, considering our only reason for returning is to act as a guide in these darkest of times. Someone has to be brave enough state the obvious. The man the world is calling the President of the United States may be a stark raving madman. And it is because of this possibility, the nation and by extension, the entire world is in its most perilous state in the history of humankind. Let us explain.
All the signs of undocumented mental issues are present and it didn't take long to reveal themselves. Under early and relentless pressure, Donald Trump has resorted to making wild unsubstantiated accusations against anybody that he thinks is out to get him. Unfortunately, Trump thinks everybody is out to get him. In the last four weeks, Donald Trump has blamed former President Obama for almost every failing of his floundering administration to date. Starting with his inauguration, Trump accused Barack Obama of leaving him "a mess" to clean up. Crime was of hook. America was in a state of carnage. The nation was left completely unprotected, because unvetted Muslims and undocumented Mexicans were crawling all over the country looking to sell drugs, rape women and commit acts of unholy islamic terror. And it went nowhere but downhill from there.
Donald Trump blamed the Obama administration for all the leaks making their way into the mailboxes of journalist. At the same time, White House staffers were being forced to turnover personal cell phones and other digital devises to be searched for suspicious activity. He's beginning to see conspiracies everywhere. He's seeing the shadows and hearing the whispers of a silent coup being launched against him, but he can't be sure who's behind it. He's not quite sure who he can trust. He's not quite sure who he can talk to. He's quite not sure who really likes him. And being liked is very important to Donald Trump. But more importantly, if any of our assessment is true, Donald Trump is showing signs of being afraid, very afraid.
We were never more certain that we should share our observations than this weekend, when the leader of the so-called free world clearly crossed the Crazy Line. Donald Trump accused President Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower without providing a shred of evidence. This, in our view, is the highest level of Nuttiness. The Trump administration is now existing in a bunker mentality. According to Merriam-Webster's online dictionary, the definition of a Bunker Mentality is a very defensive way of thinking by members of a group who feel they are being wrongly attacked or criticized by others. To say this administration is hyper defensive in its thinking cannot be overstated.
Thus far, the face of the Trump administration has been pockmarked with incidents of rash, reckless and irrational behaviors when cornered and confronted by journalist and others seeking the truth. Generally, this type of madness is rooted in deep seeded insecurity, which itself is deeply rooted in incompetence. Unfortunately, what's most frightening for America and the rest of the world is the fact that narcissistic egomaniacs rarely recognize or admit personal insecurities or incompetencies without years of psychotherapy, if ever. Donald Trump's twisted mindset is far more likely to target critics and those demanding evidence to support his outrageous allegations with vicious Tweets in the middle of the night. The mainstream media can and do attest to this daily.
For those still laboring over the possibility that Donald Trump is crazy like a fox, as he's merely using diversionary tactics to change the conversation, they may be as delusional as Donald Trump. Anyone rational enough to use diversionary tactics, would at least remain in the realm of plausibility. No, we're prepared to say what most refuse to accept. The United States elected a crazy man to lead the world.
Bottom line: Unless something is done to place restrictions on or otherwise restrain Donald Trump's authorities, the world could find itself at the mercy of an impulsive insecure megalomaniac with unlimited power. But wait it gets worse. Trump will have no one to tell him "No", "Not Now", "Lets Think This Through." or at the very least, "Please Mr. President, can we review your Tweets before you click send?" Considering Donald Trump is exhibiting these dangerous characteristics even a laymen can spot, what will he be like with six more months of relentless pressure. If you're not worried by now, you should be.
