Issues Under Fire: Democrats Mysteriously Condemn One of its Own for Demanding Proof in Syria Gas Attack

Democrats Mysteriously Condemn One of its Own for Demanding Proof in Syria Gas Attack
We've been confronted with a mystery and it's so mind boggling, we need your help to solve it. When the Trump administration launched 59 Tomahawk missiles into Syria in retaliation for a gas attack the United States claimed Bashar al-Assad was responsible for, few members of Congress made any effort to declassify the evidence Trump used to justify his military action. And while this is mysterious enough, this story turned mind boggling when the Democratic leadership began viciously attacking one of its own for doing just that. If you got a moment, we got some questions you might be able to help us answer.
Howard Dean, former chairmen of the National Democratic Committee and Neera Tanden, head of the Center for American Progress attacked Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii in a series of tweets, because the two term Congresswoman had the gumption to challenge the administration for proof that Bashar al-Assad was the culprit behind the horrific incident. From our perspective, Rep. Gabbard was making a reasonable demand, considering the pathological liar currently occupying the White House and the U.S.' history of attacking others before getting its story straight. Iraq and Libya should serve as an adequate reminder.
Howard Dean called the Liberal Democrat a disgrace and said she shouldn't be in Congress, simply because she demanded proof from a reputed fabulist to back his claims to commit an act of war. Neera Tanden wants the popular Congresswoman to face a primary challenge, because she had the audacity to meet with Bashar al-Assad without getting permission from Paul Ryan (no stranger to a lie) on her own fact finding mission. Unfortunately,  when you're digging for the truth, it's impossible not to get your hands dirty. Rep. Gabbard took that trip to establish a dialog with Bashar al-Assad and that took some guts.
With a seat on the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees, this Iraq war vet is refusing to settle for statements from White House Spokesperson Shawn Spicer or watered-down news reports from the likes of CNN and MSNBC. Rep. Gabbard appears to be determined to find out what's really going on in Syria and we are too. If the United States is planning to support Assad's opposition for regime change, shouldn't we know who that opposition is by now and if it can be trusted? Shouldn't America have been introduced to the rebel opposition's leadership after supporting them in a civil war for six years? If you can't name the leader of the Syrian rebels, don't feel bad, because nobody else can either.
Bottom line: Since none of our questions are likely to be asked or answered in the mainstream media, we're going to risk perpetuating a conspiracy theory by presenting our unanswered questions for your review. If you know why the Democrats would savage one of their own for asking tough questions, not accepting classified for an answer and going toe to toe with the White House to avert an escalation in the violence, please help us understand, because we're mystified and we hate mysteries.
