Dark Times in Syria Could Get Darker: John Bolton Has A Master Plan 

For those interested in "boring" topics like U.S. foreign policy and world affairs, they've known for years, the United States has had problems articulating a strategy for dealing with the civil war in Syria. The Obama administration struggled from the very beginning of hostilities in Damascus to find a peaceful, political and eventually, a military solution to Bashar al-Assad's rule. Threats didn't work, international condemnation had no effect. Special forces operations were fruitless. And when it was clear training and arming rebel fighters was a waste of time and resources, Americans became impatient. They wanted to know WTF was going on and why should they care? Unfortunately, to this day, neither of those questions have been answered. Enter Donald Trump.

When Donald Trump took the oath of office to protect the U.S. Constitution and the American people, he was saddled with the same no-win situation in Syria Barack Obama struggled with. Having to choose between hawkish elements in the GOP seeking an escalation of efforts at any cost, and the non-interventionists who just wanted to GTFO of Dodge, Donald Trump was left faced with a problem even his much smarter predecessor couldn't solve. What to do? What to do? What to do? He must've wondered and wondered and wondered. Trump didn't want to break a campaign promise by getting knee deep in a war without end, but he didn't want to look like a punk on the world stage. If Trump just decided to GTFO of Dodge, that would tarnish his brand as a tough guy. Enter John Bolton.

When Donald Trump replaced his National Security Advisor, General H.R. McMaster, with John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN., he suddenly had a plan. And although Bolton is a raging, bloodthirsty warmonger, his devious and diabolical thinking processes appealed to Trump. John Bolton had a plan to stoke the flames of war while keeping Trump from getting burned from any blowback. Bolton's plan is cunning, underhanded and evil. Millions of innocents and non-combatants could die and suffer from this plan, but it could work, and with minimal loss of American lives and resources. John Bolton's plan is to build an all Arab military force to fight in Syria while bringing U.S. troops home. Knowing Donald Trump, this plan is a stroke of genius. 

Imagine having Arabs killing Arabs, Muslims killing Muslims and Shiite killing Sunni, while the United States maintain control of events on the ground. Without risking American lives and saving billions at the same time, war-weary Americans with more pressing issues going on in their lives can turn the page, change the channel and forget the daily reports of death and destruction, or be called out for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Americans can finally wash the blood off their hands and blame the madness on "Those Savages". After all, many have been convinced sectarian violence is a way of life in that region of the world. As far as Americans are concerned, it's been that way for centuries. With this plan, who'll care if a Muslim child dies from an air-strike, or an attack of skin burning white phosphorus munitions? Nobody as long as somebody else did it.

If you think about what's happening in Yemen, you'll understand how this plan works. The United States is reaping huge profits selling Saudi Arabia arms to wage a proxy war against Iran. And since Washington hates Tehran as much as Riyadh does, the United States is more than happy to oblige. The U.S. supplies the weapons, logistics and operational support from afar, and let the locals have at it, while most Americans remain clueless about the suffering of the Yemeni people. And that's the most devious part of Bolton's plan. It keeps Americans in the dark, and that's not all.

Donald Trump will no longer have to make those uncomfortable calls to widows of warriors. Also, he'll no longer have to make those trips to the Dover Port Mortuary to honor the bodies of those returning warriors. If the plan works, there will be no dead U.S. warriors to honor. For those who feel the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim, this plan makes perfect sense. A deviant mind would wonder why Barack Obama didn't think of it. This is a winning solution with no downside to speak of. Well, that's of course if you can ignore the millions of innocent refugees this plan will create.

Bottom line: While only a malevolent soul could've conceived of such an evil strategy, only a madman would approve it. That said, it appears Donald Trump and John Bolton are a match made in Hell. And if they decide to follow through on this path of inhumanity towards humankind, Hell is where they'll both belong. So, if there's a God, as they say, that's where Trump and Bolton will end up someday. Podcast below.
