Issues Under Fire: Is Evil is Winning?
Today's post and podcast are purely for posterity and your edification. My usual comprehensive copy was simply too painful to write up in depth. After witnessing the brutal massacre of as many as sixty unarmed Palestinian protestors dampened my spirits to such a debilitating degree, I had little more than the ability to speak left to offer. The act of writing requires a lot of mental energy. When one writes with passion, one has to open one's heart to feel the story of those being written about. And from my perspective, those I spoke of today are suffering beyond my ability to tell their story without damaging my very soul. So, I'm forced to admit evil won this day. And while thankfully it doesn't happen often, every now and then evil will take a terrible toll. If you've got a moment, I'll explain.
What I do is dirty work, because the world we live in is a dirty place. I do what I do because we live in an age of deception. We can believe no one. From our teachers to our leaders we can not trust what we're being told or sold. Someone has to dedicate themselves to telling the truth. Someone has to go against the ever-growing tide of lies and misinformation. Someone has to make the sacrifice to challenge the cunning propaganda being spread like a virus in the public square. Someone has to expose the wicked agendas and their evil intent. Unfortunately for me, I'm that somebody. Well, I'm one of them. There are others, just not nearly enough, for I fear we're a dying breed. And that fact saddens me to no end.
However, I can tell you what you can expect in today's podcast. In addition to yesterday's massacre on the Gaza border, I talk about America's latest cruel and inhumane tactic of threatening Honduran mothers with imprisonment and their children placed in foster care should they dare cross America's southern border. I talk about the heartless and insensitive manner Senator John McCain and his family are being treated in their darkest hour, as well as the Trump administration's refusal to offer a heartfelt apology and why.
I also talk about how we as a society have been intentionally dummied down to such an extent, many are no longer capable of independent, analytical and objective thinking. They can not see what's happening to them. And so, they are powerless to do anything but endure the pain. But most importantly, I endeavored to discuss how the battle between Good and Evil is being lost by those still praying and hoping for better days. As you can see, this is rough stuff, and it proved to be too much.
Bottom line: I can only offer my apologies for being such a downer today, but the realities of the world in which we live and share are getting worse by the minute. And since the advent of the Internet and social media, those realities cannot be ignored by those of us who still retain the ability to think independently, analytically and objectively. Sadly, for those of us who do, we fully understand diabolism rules. And until we can turn the tide, we will continue to suffer. And that my friend is the unvarnished truth. Podcast Below
