Issues Under Fire: Vladimir Putin: Sowing the Seeds of Chaos

Issues Under Fire: Vladimir Putin: Sowing the Seeds of Chaos
In case you haven't noticed, the United States is in a state of crisis. Since the day Donald Trump took the oath of office he's done nothing but created instability, uncertainty, and CHAOS. The country can't tell if it's coming or going in any particular direction from one moment to the next. And while those who still support and defend Trump's erratic behavior with idioms like "He's Crazy Like a Fox", I'm writing today's post to establish the notion that Donald Trump is simply straight up crazy. I've also produced a podcast today that'll support the fact that, there is no method to Trump's madness because he's simply madcap screwy. But most importantly, I'm going to do my level-minded best to convince you that Donald Trump didn't win the 2016 election. Vladimir Putin did. I know it sounds insane, but if you bear with me for a few moments longer, I think I can prove my case.
By now, most sensible, reasonable and rational minds agree Russia wanted Donald Trump in the Oval Office in the worse way and thus, did everything it possible to put him there. Why? Because Russia correctly predicted Donald Trump's proclivity for unpredictability. Unpredictability breeds uncertainty. Uncertainty breeds instability. Instability breeds chaos. And, its because the United States has been mired in chaos since day one of the Trump administration, is why U.S. allies are now coming to the conclusion that Russia may be a viable alternative. Let's face it, relationships, both short and long-term are built on trust. Without trust, no relationship can be sustained other than a bad one. And given Donald Trump's penchant for lying, he's lost any and all credibility long ago. Now, let's get to the evidence.
Several weeks ago, Donald Trump took the country and the international financial markets to the precipice of a full-blown trade war between the U.S. and China. Trump threatened the U.S. would place heavy tariffs on Chinese imports if Beijing didn't drastically reduce the trade deficit between the two nations. But at the height of trades talks between the two largest economies in the world, the Trump administration announces, there will be no tariffs levied against China. Trump says China agreed to reduce the trade deficit by a whopping $200 billion dollars. China says that's bullshit. Now, I ask you, who or what are we to believe? Considering Trump's insanely unpredictable reversal on ZTE, any reasonable observer can do nothing but wonder WTF is going on.
After nearly bringing the Chinese telecom giant to its knees by banning U.S. companies from selling parts or providing services to ZTE because it shipped equipment to Iran and North Korea in violation of U.S. sanctions, Donald Trump inexplicably changed his mind. Well, that's not exactly true. Trump did provide an explanation, but the explanation made no sense. Trump Tweeted, "President Xi of China and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back in business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost." And this from a man who called China a currency manipulator and a country that has been stealing American jobs for decades by cheating on trade rules. BTW, both these accusation have been denied by China. But enough of China, let's move on to North Korea.
In the standoff between Washington and Pyongyang over Kim Jong-un nuclear weapons program, Donald Trump has called the North Korean leader every derogatory name he could think of. From Maniac to Rocket Man, Trump has relentlessly taunted and provoked Kim just to get his goat. However when Trump thought there might be the slightest chance he could be awarded a Nobel Peace prize for denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula, all of a sudden, the crazy torturing dictator who starved his own people became an honorable man. When Kim Jong-un made it clear getting rid of his nation's nukes would not a part of the negotiations, like a madman, Donald Trump looked into the cameras with the entire world watching and said if Kim didn't make a deal with the U.S. he'd face the same fate as Libya's Muammar Gaddafi.
That statement shook the living sh*t out of South Korean President Moon Jae-in. Within hours, President Moon made arrangements to meet with Donald Trump in the White House to see what can be done to reestablish a civil tone a reduce the threat of a military conflict. Moon knows if he can't talk some sense into Trump when the bombs begin to fly, they'll fall first on Seoul. But that's only the beginning of our worries. The U.S. has nearly 30 thousand troops stationed in South Korea. U.S. ally Japan is within range, U.S. military personnel and their families are stationed on the unincorporated island of Guam. So, if Donald Trump is true to form and does something rash without fully thinking through the consequences, we could be courting a major disaster in the very near future.
Bottom line: If former President Barack Obama, the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, and all U.S. Intelligence agencies believe Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential elections to help get Donald Trump elected, who am I to disagree? Besides, Russia's efforts have been paying some obvious dividends. In an effort to save his own ass from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, Donald Trump has been attacking and undermining the FBI, the DOJ, and the U.S. Free Press. Only a crazy person or a guilty one would resort to such behaviors. Either way, Vladimir Putin got his way. And thus, he's successfully sown the seed of chaos in America. What's next, anarchy?
