Issues Under Fire: Moscow's Marionette

Issues Under Fire: Moscow's Marionette
Since savvy observers already concluded the U.S. will be isolated at the G-7 Summit in Quebec and given a lesson in the Art of the Scam at the Singapore Summit, I thought it might be fun to engage in a bit of wild speculation and reckless rumors to shed light on why what's happening, is really happening. Besides, it's too soon for another episode of the "Shady Shyster", aka Rudy Guiliani, Donald Trump's mouthpiece and master of sleazy legalese. By Sunday, Trump's cockamamy consigliere will have slung even more mud to muddy the waters of the Mueller investigation So, I'll wait while that story simmers in the slim a little longer. In the meantime, let me tell you what I heard...
Quite by accident, I came across a story on CNN's website entitled Putin says he speaks regularly to Trump. Wow! That explains a lot. Still, somehow, I couldn't help wondering why a headline like this would generate closer scrutiny. This headline could suggest Vladimir Putin has more influence on U.S. policy than anybody is willing to admit at this time. If both James Clapper former Director of National Intelligence and Gen. Michael Hayden, former Director of the National Security Agency agree Vladimir Putin swayed the 2016 election toward Donald TRUMP, one has to wonder why so few want to know WTF is Putin and Trump talking about. Well, I've got questions. I've got a lot of questions. So, I'll start with who calls who. That's more important than one might think.
If Clapper and Hayden are correct and Russian Intelligence really did put Donald Trump in the Oval Office, then one could speculate, Vladimir Putin is actually in control. If the Russian President has communicated that fact during one of their "regular" calls, then when the phone rings, its Donald Trump answering it.  While the CNN story indicated the White House reported eight calls between the two world leaders, we all know there's no way to confirm that. Donald Trump has been encouraged many times to refrain from using his private smart-phone, but when he's talking to his "BOSS", what else can he do? Imagine if John Kelly suspected Trump was compromised and decided to listen in on one of his calls with Vladimir Putin. He might hear Putin telling Trump to do all kind of stupid sh*t. Maybe Donald Trump really is too dumb to come up with all his stupid ideas. Maybe he's getting help.
What if Vladimir Putin convinced Trump to start a trade war with his allies on the eve of the G-7 Summit. Think about it. It used to be the G-8 until Russia was kicked out of the prestigious economic club for annexing Crimea in 2014. Putin was pissed because the G-7 represents 46% of the global gross domestic product (GDP) and more than 62% of the global net wealth ($280 trillion). You can bet Russia wanted to be part of the conversation when that much money is on the global table. So, what better revenge could Putin enjoy than watching the remaining G-6 get jerked around by his short stringed marionette. The Russian President could be laughing his ass off knowing Donald Trump is doing his dirty work and taking all the heat for it. During the G-7 Summit, Putin will be licking his chops seeing Trump lick his wounds.
What if Vladimir Putin is the source of Donald Trump's conspiracy theories. What if Putin was the one who concocted the idea of "SPYGATE". It would make perfect sense for the former KGB agent to convince Trump that U.S. intelligence is out to get him. After all, Trump is aware intelligent people know he shouldn't be in the Oval Office. So, it stands to reason U.S. intelligence would be actively trying to get him out of it. During their many private conversations, Putin could've created shadows of a Deep State in Trump's mind to feed his paranoia. Putin could've planted the idea in Trump's head, that U.S. intelligence can't be trusted and he should consider anything they tell him to be fake. And why wouldn't Trump believe Putin? He'll reason, it was Vladimir Putin who got him his job and has been giving him so much free advice. As far as Trump is concerned he and Putin are pals. The only thing I can say is, what a clever coup.
Bottom line: Without having any idea what really transpires during Donald Trump's calls to and from other world leaders, its impossible to know what has really been said, what has really been understood or what has really been agreed upon. And since Trump is not only unfamiliar with the truth, but lacks enough common sense to recognize it when it's being presented to him, one can only speculate why the snickers he once received behind his back have now turned to sneers.
